About Us

Human Resources

At NEONATUS, our team is the reason that delivery rooms, NICUs, postnatal wards, and obstetric clinics trust our systems. We are not a sprawling bureaucracy—we are a disciplined, focused group that values clinical understanding, technical depth, and a quiet, relentless commitment to getting it right for the smallest patients.

Since our founding, we have cultivated a culture of scientific rigour and practical empathy. Our team includes neonatology advisors, respiratory specialists, biomedical engineers, quality professionals, regulatory experts, and product managers—many with direct clinical experience in paediatric or neonatal settings. Hiring is based on technical mastery, ethical judgment, and a genuine affinity for the mission.

Based in Shenzhen, our compact structure enables rapid decisions and clear accountability. Service and support extend across China and selected global markets through flexible partnerships. Training is continuous and covers product technology, infant physiology, electrical safety, infection prevention, and crisis communication. Professional development is not a perk—it is a necessity, because every clinician who uses our tools must be backed by a team that truly understands their environment.

Our goal is fairness, transparency, and unwavering support. This is a place for earnest work, genuine problem‑solving, and pride in products that give newborns a safer start.

Growing Clinical and Technical Expertise

We recruit from NICU nursing units, respiratory therapy departments, biomedical engineering programmes, paediatric training institutions, and medical device firms. Candidates need not only technical skill but also clinical intuition—they must understand that a ventilator waveform represents a tiny chest rising and falling. New hires follow a structured onboarding pathway, including shadowing in clinical simulations and a clear progression from junior to senior technical roles. Internal promotion is the norm.

Work Balance and Safety

NICU and delivery‑room equipment can fail at any hour. Our service engineers carry on‑call responsibilities, but we plan rosters to prevent burnout; breaks are mandated during extended service episodes. Office and workshop environments are safe and ergonomically sound. Counselling and mental health resources are available for personal or professional challenges. Wellbeing is a daily operational priority.

Inclusion in Practice

Inclusion is intentional. Our hiring panels are diverse; interviews are structured to reduce unconscious bias. Equal pay for equivalent roles is audited annually. Explicit policies protect all employees from discrimination, harassment, and retaliation. Diversity enriches our problem‑solving—for example, designing screen interfaces that are legible in dim NICU light, or creating audible alarms that respect the noise‑sensitive environment of the incubator ward.

Credit Where It Is Due

Our performance culture is built on three principles:

  • Clear goals and regular check‑ins – every employee has quarterly objectives tied to team outcomes, with monthly progress discussions.
  • Direct, constructive feedback – feedback is specific and actionable. Engineers hear how improved temperature control reduces metabolic stress; designers learn when an interface improves or hinders workflow. Feedback flows upward, downward, and laterally.
  • Recognition that fits the moment – we award “Safe Catch” recognition for preventing a potential adverse event; “Golden Minute” commendations for rapid, effective field support; and spot bonuses for exceptional collaboration during critical installations. We celebrate achievements in team meetings, via internal channels, and through private acknowledgements.

Compensation is reviewed annually, with variable components tied to customer satisfaction, system reliability, and quality metrics. Career progression is transparent and merit‑based.

The deepest recognition, however, is the quiet knowledge that today’s work helped a neonate leave the NICU healthier than they arrived. This is the reality—and the reward—of every single day at NEONATUS.
